Who Are We?

The Bingo Translation group is a charity initiative founded in 2022. To date, the group comprises a team of 40 bilingually (English and Chinese) qualified high school students in China and beyond, all of whom embrace philanthropy and intend to utilize their bilingualism to make an impact.

We envision a future where diversion in language no longer hinders the mutual assistance between peoples and where intercultural understanding is achieved through bilingualism.

Our mission is to support charity causes affiliated with multi-national or intercultural initiatives by providing bilingual translation services and aiding international communication.

Why are we qualified?

The Bingo group prioritizes quality translation that accurately conveys the original meaning and correctly reflects cultural notions. To achieve this end, we are selective in our enlistment and rigorous in our processes.

To join our group, volunteers are required to be proficient in both English and Chinese. The majority are native in Chinese and have scored 110+ on the TOEFL test in addition to studying at a bilingual institution. Moreover, the applicants must demonstrate a passion for philanthropy and show an understanding of the differences between Western and Eastern cultures. Finally, all volunteers need to sign a declaration of commitment before entering their probation.

Our translation process is well structured to efficiently produce quality work. Tasks are broken down and allocated to specialized units that operate independently. These units directly report to the task manager, who reviews the translations and organizes the final document. Before release, all work is reviewed again by the lead manager.

What value do we bring?

We are the best choice for charity initiatives that benefit from free and rapid translations. If you do not have the budget for translation services or wish to extend to impact to a new audience, we would love to collaborate. We offer both English-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-English translations of documents, data, and other materials.
